About Me
Hey y’all, thank you for visiting Tyler’s Fishing Adventures! My name is Tyler and I have been fishing my entire life, mostly in the Southern United States. Fishing has shaped my life for the better and it has taken me all around the world.
My weekly fishing trips consist of Redfish, Black Drum, Sheepshead, Speckled Sea Trout, Mangrove Snapper, and Flounder.
While attending college, I worked as a deckhand aboard an offshore fishing boat. I learned irreplaceable knowledge working on the boat. We caught a variety of bottom fish and pelagic species.
In the summer of 2023 I guided fly fishing charters on Lake Illiamna, Alaska; targeting a variety of freshwater fish from the fly. We mostly targeted Rainbow Trout and Arctic Char. From my experiences I now have a better understanding of how to teach different techniques and skills from a guide perspective.
Ultimately, I created this blog to learn more and to catch more fish and avoid the same mistakes when I started fishing.
